Shaft Weights

I was looking at shafts at the store, and I compared the Red Lite XN10 to the other shafts they had. Most of the other shafts were standard length and didn't come with endplugs. However, the actual composite part of the RL XN10 was shorter than that of the others, and included a wood plug to bring it up to standard length.

What i'm wondering is, do the advertised shaft weights refer to the weight of just the shaft, or do they also include the endplug that comes with it?

They are generally the all composite shaft and not weighed at its full length without plug.
