Mission wicked 1 deal?

Recommended Posts

wow thats enticing just like bombit said for the chassis and stuff. I heard the boot is pretty painful break in though. I'm thinking about it even though I just bought the Boss skates just to have another pair of skates.

I would say size 9.5D?

I've gone with a size 9, and 10 before. 9 felt just nice, but once i hit the boards my toes get crunched... 10 feels a little too big.

jeez... looks like everyone wants the chassis and not the boots.

I've gotten a huge amount of PMs on this for me to take the boots. Will reply to them asap.

yea yea... been asking myself the same question. I was a one-set-of-gear guy before i joined MSH... and now I've got gear in 2 countries, and enough shafts to start my own team.

thank you MSH, for pimping my rides.

Btw, shute, you interested in some vibes chassis?

You convinced me.

I ordered a 9EE

-> wearing :

9.5-10 shoes

9 ccm tacks

10 VSI (but they are a little too big for me)

Hope it will make it!

About the EE is that true that it's just a quarter of inch wider? Is it visible from the outside?

Does someone has real pics of wicked 1?

hi justin,

Do you advise me to bake them or is it totally useless?

I'm ready for some pain... but if it's really painful I will slap the chassis on my VSI boot <_<

Heat fit for sure...And if you have pain, drop in some foam in the areas of pain (I use cut up old footbed foam and some glue).

I heard about this method with foam. But it's just for the break in period or is it forever (as you mentioned glue)?

On more thing, on this board, everybody used to talk about the fitting issues, but none talk about the skates themselves when they fit and the fit is good (are they good compared to others years mission skates? building quality? bearings and wheel that come with?

I know I'm stupid with that but if someone could take time to put some pics of his wicked one, I would really appreciate :)

Hi,

If I fit NBH one90 skates 9.5D perfectly, do I have a shot fitting in these? If so what size and width should I choose?

Btw, I wear shoes size 11.

Thanks

Be fast from 8,5 to 10 there were just EE width when I ordered mine ;)

People go 0,5 or 1 or 1,5 size down from shoe size (pb with shoes size is that some time people like to wear loose shoe so the shoe size is not really reliable).

After spending a night on the board looking for wicked line sizing questions it occurs that if you go a full size down from your shoes size you should be great

This is the part I don't understand... Every online site selling skates (I can think of) claims that mission sizing is exactly the same as shoe sizing whereas in nikebauer one90's case, for instance, they advise you to buy one,1 1/2 or two sizes smaller. I went with the 1 1/2 size smaller and if I put my feet in my one90s I have no space for any forward or backward movement even if they are w/o laces.

That being said, according to those sites I should go with 9.5+1.5=11 mission skates.. so are all of those sites inaccurate??

What I still don't know is: are they similar to one90 fit wise? Is D in one90s a D in wickeds?.

Have anyone tried both one90s and wicked 1 or actually made a transition?

Anybody want to go 50/50 on a pair of these Wicked 1s? All I'd want is the chassis, you take the boot and wheels/bearings.

It would have to be a size that comes with a large chassis.

Hey Justin, do the holes for the aluminum chassis line up with the ones for the Mag?

Just wanted to know if you could remove a chassis from a wicked 7 skate and fit them on the wicked 1 without having to redrill any holes.

Do these come with the same chassis that is being sold retail for $160?

I'd be more than willing to do so... I'd need an 11EE boot, I believe 11s come with a large chassis, correct?
