Should ice and roller be the same boot?

How important is it to have ice and roller boots? I have never been on rollers, currently skate in RBKs, at least for now. Do roller boots fit the same as their ice brands?

Besides just getting a boot that fits, are there any othr factors? I tried on a pair of Missions and they fit great.

Second question, Mission DSX or RBK 5K/3K? If 5K worth the extra $40?

As far as choosing a skate, I'd go wtih the 5k's. The better wheels, bearings, and chassis warrant the increase in price. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 3k's have a two-piece stamped frame that's not extruded. Since it's not extruded, the frame is more apt to break if you're hard on your skates.
