hrbekroenick 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2008 This is a first for me. I think I pulled something in my ab a couple of weeks ago. The pain starts in the lower stomach (left side) and goes down to the top of the left thigh. Any suggestions? I've been taking an EH and ibuprofen, but this is really pissing me off. I'm tired of not playing in the field, and being even slower than usual on the ice. Summer hockey starts soon, and every time I think it is better I move wrong and the pain is back. RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted May 27, 2008 [TRADITIONAL DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT A DR.]Could be a rib out of place. My GF's car doesn't have power locks. She leaned over awkwardly to unlock my door and felt a little pop. 2 days later...still hurt pretty bad...went to her Chiropractor who "popped" it back in, and she felt better right away. If you have summer hockey coming up and you want to be back to 100% you should definately see the doctor and get right to the source of the problem rather than play with the injury for longer than you need to. Otherwise it could also be a mild hernia - either way see a doctor. If you don't go here is some info...http://www.med.umich.edu/1libr/sma/sma_iliopsoa_sma.htmAnd some exercises to make it stronger...http://www.myfit.ca/exercisedatabase/searc...le=Hip%20Flexor
