Full Visors

Goonsquad, did you use Oakley's AFR spray or Itech's anti-fog spray on your visor? I only rinse my FX-50 with water and pat it dry with a soft cloth but it's been fogging up on me since I bought it.

Sounds like a real big problem to me. Have you Contacted Itech support? When was the visor manufactured? that may have something to do with it. I think, and someone can correct me on this one, that once upon a time the visor had two flavors one with the coating and one without. I am sure they would want to hear your complaint. They are real good about customer satisfaction. They recently sent me a couple of center mounts for the visor free of charge and that was just because I asked.

I used the Itech wipes. REAL Freaking hard to find. The one thing I do notice is that the rinks that I have been to with the helmet are generally dry and very cool around the sheets. The one exception was going to the lockers that are in a different part of the building as the sheets. The ones where its heated and no so climate and humidity controlled.

I found the wipes here at Steichens. I looked at two pro shop for them and could not find it. I also went to Dicks Sporting goods and a couple of Sports Authority's I gave up and got a couple of boxes.

How do you like the combo, is it well worth the money? I've been thinking of that exact combo but don't wanna waste the money on something I might not like when I can buy a 4500.

Oh and can you remove the bottom cage part? Because when im training I don't need a full cage but I would like to have a visor. Thanks.

i wonder if the fogging issues have to do with the humidity in the facility where you play. because i never get fogging on any of my visors, hs22 straight, wave, oakley straight and dx100, and these have all been used in both ice rinks and inline rinks. the only time i have had the slightest bit of fogging is when i play summer ice hockey. so maybe the humidity and ice in the arena would be the case if you play in a warmer climate? by the way, i cleaned my itechs with water or pledge only, and only used AFR on the oakley

I like it a lot. I spent too much money on dental work only to have someone accidentally ruin the work

I would suggest contacting Itech about what to use on there. Of course they will recommended there stuff for rejuvenating the Anti-fog

No. you can just wear the visor part. The visor part mounts to the cage part so its either you wear it or don't wear it
