New Skates

Recommended Posts

I bought the One90's about 6 months ago. I initally felt pain with them, but I assumed it was just because they were new. Months later they were still killing me! I've re-baked them, stretched them, punched them out nothing worked.

I went to try on new skates today and didn't buy any as none of them felt good enough. I tried U+(which i was counting on purchasing) they felt very starange and boxy and had alot of heel slippage. I tried xxxx's, i wasn't convinced. Then i tried 0ne95's just for the hell of it and wasn't comfortable with buying something so close to the one90's

What should I do!!

did you try to adjust your arch? cause thats the issue that i had. try putting the black superfeet in them. i think there's pretty large amount of people on here who have them in their skates.

2 different types of "black" Superfeet, if I recall correctly... one type is the custom Superfeet. The retail black are for low-volume, tighter fitting footwear like loafers, etc. According to their website, "Yellow is the new grey", recommended for hockey skates... wider forefoot, ventilation, etc.

try the other brands as li7039 said. If nothing fits right, u could even try some roller boots, although they may not provide the same amount of protection/stiffness. but u may find the fit u want.

*cough* Wicked 1's *cough*

As other people have said, just try on as many different brands/models as you can. Best of luck finding a skate that you feel comfortable wearing.
