hawks19 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2008 From what I understand, Carded is being protected by that team as which no other team in that league can sign you or have your rights... In the league I play in there is a "Red" card (which isn't really red) that is your players card, meaning you are eligible to play in regular season games. There is also an affiliate card which teams will offer to mostly younger players which expires at the end of the season, but allows you to play in regular season games up to a certain amount, with the team that you have signed.
