I think this World Cup was apparently going to be in 2002 but they pushed it back because of the NHL players were going to SLC and the Olympics. He probably ment the World Championships instead of the WCH.

yeah...could've been world championship...

but you can clearly see on the right glove it says "02 world cup"...

i wonder if there was a lot of '02 stuff made then???
