Need Help Proving Stick wasn't a StickFix

Recommended Posts

If it is a wood blade and you couldn't tell when you got it, you have some issues and obviously you wouldn't be informed enough to figure out if the stick was repaired. What's his email? I'm going to buy a bunch of one40s, paint them solid yellow and sell them as st louis pro returns. Wonder if the right handed sticks would be a giveaway to this guy.

It's not wood, I think Xaero assumed that from the coloring. It would not have a 12k weave look and there's no good way to smooth out a wood blade to hide the kevlar/fiberglass wrap. Even hybrid blades have a very different texture.

fastmiele- It's a Dolomite, they're all shafts with a tapered blade. The buyer from CL is pissed because he thinks he paid for a one-piece stick and got something that was repaired in the taper when in reality almost every OPS is a 2-piece fused shaft and blade. The fact that Warrior doesn't go to great lengths to hide the fact that the one piece is different than their two piece has exasperated the situation.

Sometimes it seems they don't even go to great lengths to ensure their OPS stay in one-piece. I've had a lot of customers come in mid-game/practice asking me to glue the blades of their Warrior OPS back in after the epoxy had come loose and the blade flew off.

To the OP. Glad everything worked out.
