Zamboni 6 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 Nov 01, 2008 07:39 AM THE CANADIAN PRESSKINGSVILLE–One southern Ontario woman has learned you don't have to be navigating a road to be charged with impaired driving.Citizens approached an off-duty police officer Thursday night at a Kingsville, Ont., arena concerned about the Zamboni driver.They reported an ice resurfacing machine was being driven erratically, struck the rink boards and missed sections of the ice.At one point, witnesses reported the driver stopped on the ice and was slumped over the wheel.The driver, who was described by police as being uncooperative, was arrested after guiding the Zamboni off of the ice surface.A 34-year-old Kingsville woman is due to appear in a Windsor court in December on charges of impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level over 80 milligrams.
