Goalie (inline) skate sizing for my little sister?

She wears a 9ish in new balances. Mom's looking at getting her some goalie skates for christmas. Right now the Nike/Bauer XG Lites are probably what will be gotten if we can figure out the sizing. I've done some searching and can't really seem to find out a whole lot, but i'll keep looking till I figure something out.

So, does anyone know what size goalie skate a womens 9 in new balances would be?

She should try to be fitted in the store, anthing else is very risky. If by womens sizing you mean US womens sizing thats 1 size smaller than mens US size, making her an Mens US 8. Bauer runs 1-1.5 sizes smaller than US mens sizing so then she'd be a 6.5 or 7 in Bauer. Bearing in mind the fairly large gap at the front of the goalie skate for the cowling you don't want to be too far off in your sizing, she could end up with 2 inches between her front toe and the tip of the boot!

I'm a girl who wears 9.5 in New Balance. My ice skates are 5.5 in Reebok. For me, an equal size in men's shoes is usually two sizes down. (I wear a men's size 7 in Converse) Hope this helps.
