Velocity Steel Blades (runners): educate me

I want to replace the steel on my CCM 992's.

I currently have: Proformance Lite 10' Stainless (scalloped)

Will Velocity Steel Blades hold a better/longer edge than the Proformance series (either the regular or lite/scalloped) runners?

I'm NOT interested in Rocker Runners....... so those are out!

Any info and experience you have with Velocity Blades is MUCH appreciated!
