skate footbed repair

I've got some new skates that I changed holders with twice. Just want to know what you guys do with all the extra holes and if it's a problem that one of the forward rivets has a big divet in the footbed. My buddy decided to just pull the holder off because the graf screw was just spinning. I would've taken a high speed to it and sheared the head off, but he just pulled it off before I had a chance to tell him. I also plan to use some aircraft grade epoxy called hysol. It's like epoxy, but very, very, high strength. My concern is that when I changed them I had to auger out some of the holes because of their proximity. Anybody have a proble with the holder shifting or rivets loosening? What's your experience been with dealing with these?
