Warrior Hitman Pants

I have just had a kidney transplant as for some who dont know the kidney is placed at the front, pictures can be found on google of the position.

I have seen the warrior pants have the "6 pack" protector which is in a great position to protect my new kidney, can any one tell me how much padding that provides? Is it quite strong or is it just a bit of flimsy material which is there to look pretty and serve no purpose.
