hockey in portland, or?

i'm considering a move to portland, oregon soon and was wondering if anybody has info on ice hockey in the area. looking to find out about rinks, adult leagues, drop-in, pro shops, etc. i'm in my early 30s and skated in a b league in denver last year. thanks...

I'm from Eugene (hour and a half south) but I played up there a lot growing up. There are three rinks- Sherwood Ice (in Sherwood, just south of Portland), Valley Ice Arena in Beaverton (suburb), and Mountain View in Vancouver, which is right over the border in Vancouver WA. The only pro shop I'm aware of is Northwest Skate Authority which is at the Sherwood rink. There is at least one member on here who is from Portland, and I'm sure he can answer your questions better than I can.
