watching the wings game, and andreas lilja took a dleayed penalty for slashing. little bit later, on the delayed penalty lilja hauls down iginla. no penalty, but it got me wondering. If lilja gets called for a second penalty, how does that work? Does another penalty serve the other one in a 5-on-3?

Works just like a double minor, 2 penalties served consecutively. A 5 on 3 on occurs when two separate players take penalties and therefore are served concurrently.

like he said 4 mins... they try to put the least amount of guys in the box as possible... why make someone else sit for his mistake right?

was watching a bantam game and a kid ended up with a hook, slash, and a high stick all on the same shift... needless to say his coach was not pleased. I think I was more impressed that the ref remembered all of the calls

I think I remember Bertuzzi doing that a few seasons ago. Cant remember what the calls were, but I think he had 3 minor penalties on the same shift.
