Thanks for the answers and knowledgeable advice up front.Does anyone have any experiences with the new heel lock (or padding) on the new tour 9.9's. I am going to be picking a pair of these up and was just torn between getting a size 8 or 8 and a half. With the 8 1/2 I can almost get my full hand in the back of the skate with my foot pushed up all the way to the toecap. But when I tie the skates my foot does seem to partially lock back and the toes feel good. I am just afraid after baking or skating in them it is going to loosen up and I am going to be pissed I didn't go with the 8. So has anyone had any dealings with these and could you tell me your experience with the heel lock in the tour 9.9's. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

ncbrock 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2008 Baking these skates arrent very effectice. Ive baked mine and didnt do squat and still today are extremely stiff skates and hate my skates. But just go with the 8's these skates dont really loosen up. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
