Differences in Hum'er chassis?

I have at my disposal two sets of Hum'ers one from my current Code 1s and one from a pair of old Tour Silver Max (I think this is what they were called...?). The one from the Silver Max is a silver chassis with purple writing on is and says "Sensor" the one from the Code one's says "DPS Technology." The pair on the Silver Max boots have been unmounted and look to be a multi-piece chassis (ie. the mounting plates are pressed onto the frame) and are thinner, all of which would lead me to believe it would not be as strong as the one from my Code 1s which seem to be a one piece design.

Does anyone know what the differences are and if, in fact, the Hum'ers from my Code 1s are stronger and would be a better choice?
