CCM V06 Skates

Are the v06 skates the same as the v08's on the insides? I tried on the v08's (LHS didn't have any of the v06's) and they were nice, but really weren't that comfortable. They didn't feel like they had alot of padding on the inside, like there was just the liner. Do the V06's have more of an old vector interior?

im pretty sure the v08 has u foam and the v06 doesnt, not sure though

I think only the u+ has the u foam. I couldn't find any 8's around and so went with 6's and am very happy. The 6 is a litttle less stiff than the 8, which is fine for me personally. The 8's also have the rocket runner. My only concern with the rocket runner is finding someone who can properly sharpen it. Where I live, I don't think they sell too many skates with rocket runners, and I understand they're tricky to sharpen. As far as padding, the skate's don't have a lot of padding, but I don't think any less than most skates. Since the boot fits pretty well, I don't think not haveing more padding is a problem for me.

R3my, if your talkin bout the older rbks also, i have the '07 5k pump, so i can give you feedback

R3MY, sorry, I don't have any experience with those skates. I did try on an older vector model briefly in a shop once, but the boot didn't fit so well. I like the newer 6 fit better, for me.
