Tapered Wood Blades

Recommended Posts

I got a new grip se 16 shaft and i got a wood sherwood 950 spezza and a synergy elite modano. The sherwood didn't fit in the shaft so i had to use the easton. Are their any tapered wood blades with a modano or iginla like curve?

The Sherwood 950 is a standard blade. The SE is a tapered.

If you can find Christian Blades the #5 is the Iginla, and the #1 is the Modano/Forsberg/Zetterberg. Easton also has pro stock tapered wood blades in the Zetterberg and Iginla curve.

+1 on the Vapor XXXX... I gutted a pro stock Mission V-Hex and popped a wood XXXX in there. I like it more than all my OPS'. I bought 2 more since my lhs had a few in my pattern in stock. I'm thinking of pulling apart a brand new V-Hex that I picked up on clearance (not my pattern) and putting a wood XXXX in.

wow thanks i almost got a vapor 15 or some lower end vapor blade but i didnt.

Currently i have the elite in forsberg but ive been using various s17 with iginlas so the short blade in the forsberg feels weird.

The vapor 15 blade was Bauer's top of the line blade in its generation.
