how similar can you make a vaughn velocity to an itech xwing?

i was just recently given the option by my goalie coach to start up with the "vaughn program" which gives me free gear every year. now i understand how much money this would save me but i also want to like the stuff im wearing because i love my itech pads and have never been able to find anything quite like them. i was just wondering if any of you knew some ways to make the vaughns maybe a little more Itech like...

Here are a couple suggestions

-Solid outside roll and angled, if possible. Vaughn will do a solid roll not sure about the angled roll though

-One solid knee block

-all leather straps, two straps at knee

- thin out the pad

-get rid of the flap above knee

-leg wedge thing, get ride of that, just have a flat one. What is it called again like 3d wedge or something... ohh calf wedge, get rid of that and just have the normal calf wing

I am sure Law goalie will fill in anything i have missed

and sorry for my lack of vocabulary, it has been a while since I have been on any goalie forums, so I forget all the lingo

thank you. i wanna be able to wear them because it would save me more money than i could imagine. and i already love the epic gloves so i mean i could easliy live with those. its just the velocity leg pads that im not too keen on. but i figure if i can change them around then it wuoldn't be too bad.
