Good pants?

I got a HockeyGiant gift card for Christmas and am looking for a good pair of ice pants that are not overly bulky and will last a little while. (My last pair -- Mission M-1s -- fit neither of those criteria).

I was looking at the Supreme 50 and 70 or the Vapor XVIs, although I could be convinced to go in just about any direction...

Another problem I had with the Missions is that the Large pants (allegedly for 34"-36" waist) are very large on me. I wear 36" waist jeans and slacks without a much room to spare but with the Mission pants I have to tighten the laces and pull the straps as far as they'll go, which is a big part of why they didn't last very long. The length is good but the waist is huge.
