Luckystrike 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2009 I might be moving to the San Jose area and was just wondering if anyone here can give me any ideas what the hockey scene is like there? Are there adult leagues and what are they like? Stuff like that? thanks for any info!
calishark28 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2009 What's up Luckystrike, I'm from SJ too and the hockey scene here is really good. I live 5 minutes away from Logitech which has 4 ice rinks and a ton of leagues, there is also rolling ice which is for roller hockey. There are 3 rinks there, so all and all hockey is alive and kicking here
Ozzman 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 You can play in any level, on any night Sunday through Thursday, at Rollin' Ice. And the facility is top notch as well. I actually miss playing there now. =(
Tailboard Jockey 25 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 There are quite a few rinks in the SJ area. Sharks Ice SJ (4 rinks), Sharks Ice Fremont, rinks in Cupertino, Redwood City, Belmont, Dublin, and Oakland to name a few, plus the Sharks will be opening up a brand new 4 rink facility in Pleasanton next summer.edited to add Oakland
Doctor Hook 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2009 Just curious, are a lot of SJ area puckheads originally from other areas, or are there a lot of homegrown California hockey bros who grew up going to the rink in flip flops?
Linski 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2009 Are their any ice rinks near Vandenberg AFB? Like within an hour? lol
