-knowlzey- 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2009 I didn't see any hockey stories threads through 10 pages of an advanced search, so I'm assuming there isn't one. I know there are individual threads for certain stories, but why not have a thread?1. I went and watched my brother play in a hockey tournament. Seeing as he was a high scoring player, he won two MVP awards in the tournament, and liked to rub it in my face. I told him that in my upcoming tournament that I'd win two MVP awards, and as a low-scoring defensive defenseman, it would be difficult. I went into the first game, and played amazing, being physical and what not, and ended up winning an MVP for that game. Unfortunately, at the end of the game I found out that you could only win the MVP once, and my dream would not be fulfilled. We ended up winning the tournament, and to my surprise, there was a Tournament MVP that anyone could win. I thought I had played good, and I ended up winning the tournament MVP as a defensive defenseman!2. Short story, I was in a practice, and took a one timer from the point and broke the glass behind the net. Everyone was watching too... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
