OUST MOC 7 Speed 608 Bearings....

Hi everyone, any opinions about the aformentioned bearings? I play alot outdoors so I'm looking for a bearing that will withstand and also be serviceable, any recommendations are welcome, thanks

For about the same price, Bones Reds are the best bearing for the money. I weigh about 250lbs and have had the same set of Bones Reds for almost 2 years now and they are still going strong. A good clean and relube every other month and they have 2 outlived pairs of boots and more wheels than I'd like to count. I can not say enough good things about them.

The Bones reds are good stuff.

Remember the ABEC rating means NOTHING for inline skaters. Those ratings are meant for bearings that spend their entire life inside a machine, running smoothly, never subjected to side loading, impact, grit and grime, etc.

The most important factor when choosing a bearing is quality of manufacture.

I'll take a Swiss ABEC 1 over a Chinese ABEC 7 in general...

Unless you are skating outdoors; then I would buy something cheap and treat them like a disposable item.

My thoughts, worth only what you paid.

It's also nice to have bearings that have slight openings on one side. This allows you to spray lube into the casing easier without having to try to pop off the casings so much (they can damage and make the bearings worthless).

The regular sized Mission Swiss bearings have had this feature lately. I don't know if the Oust or Reds have this.
