i've done the basic research, and it seems like i'll be driving a minimum of 30-45 mins no matter what... i'm most interested in what people think of the local roller facilities and leagues, since i'm not familiar with them. i hadn't heard of the feasterville and sewell ones...

very frustrating that there are literally 6 ice rinks within 5-10 minutes of where i live, and i'll be driving so far for a roller rink.

Well I played @ The Feasterville Sportsplex for about 6 years before I moved, and it's one of the better facilities in the area. 3 rinks, locker rooms w/showers, pro shop and a snack bar.

It's fairly accessible off the I-95 (street road exit)

As for Skater's choice, it's down of the 47 in Sewell, NJ. Again, pretty quick to get to from the exit, fairly simple directions to get there. Decent facility, one rink, locker rooms with showers, pro shop.

nice! sportsplex sounds like it might be the place for me. looks like it's under 30 minutes. i'll try to visit it this weekend and have a look.

thanks for the input!

No problem man. You should check out some PIHA/AIHL action when you can. The Fury/Cyclones have some guys who can flat-out play.

Also try Goodsports USA in Wall, NJ. It is on rt 138, which is basically 195. It should be about 30-45 minutes from you depending on day/time you are travelling. Full size rink, pretty good. I play there, and have for years.
