-venom- 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2009 nothing? i've been playing ice all my life, but i want to play in a roller league this spring. chime in people!!!Depends how far you want to drive...There's quite a few rinks in the area, Feasterville, Sewell, NE Philly, W Philly (Kensington, lol)
s4gobabygo 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2009 i've done the basic research, and it seems like i'll be driving a minimum of 30-45 mins no matter what... i'm most interested in what people think of the local roller facilities and leagues, since i'm not familiar with them. i hadn't heard of the feasterville and sewell ones...very frustrating that there are literally 6 ice rinks within 5-10 minutes of where i live, and i'll be driving so far for a roller rink. Again, pretty quick to get to from the exit, fairly simple directions to get there. Decent facility, one rink, locker rooms with showers, pro shop.Skaters Choice

You should check out some PIHA/AIHL action when you can. The Fury/Cyclones have some guys who can flat-out play.
fieldofdreams 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2009 Also try Goodsports USA in Wall, NJ. It is on rt 138, which is basically 195. It should be about 30-45 minutes from you depending on day/time you are travelling. Full size rink, pretty good. I play there, and have for years.
