Anything high in protein, make sure you always eat breakfast. Personally what helped me is first thing in the morning is 6-8 eggs, 1 cup of plain qauker oats, oatmeal with a bit of cold water so that its a bit soft and the dump a cup of yougurt in and a nitro-tech protein shake. Check with your coach if anything in Nitro-tech is against the rules of what your allowed to take. You can buy it at GNC and it helps alot, also whey protein is a good addition to your diet.

Just eat tons and tons and tons of protein and good carbs. Chicken, Steak, Tuna, Pasta, whatever. Whey protein is a must...after workouts and another before you go to bed. Remember to eat good foods still...don't stuff your face with french fries and Krispy Kremes.

Different protein companies work well for different people, I know people who swear by the myoplex bars but i didnt see any difference. The nitro tech worked the best for me, also if you dont care about buying two different types, I recommend the nitro tech during the day and then before bed BSN makes a type Syntha 6 which has 6 different types of protein and takes longer time to digest so overnight it works the best.
