Apes44 7 Report post Posted February 16, 2009 Anything high in protein, make sure you always eat breakfast. Personally what helped me is first thing in the morning is 6-8 eggs, 1 cup of plain qauker oats, oatmeal with a bit of cold water so that its a bit soft and the dump a cup of yougurt in and a nitro-tech protein shake. Check with your coach if anything in Nitro-tech is against the rules of what your allowed to take. You can buy it at GNC and it helps alot, also whey protein is a good addition to your diet. rjw059 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2009 Just eat tons and tons and tons of protein and good carbs. Chicken, Steak, Tuna, Pasta, whatever. Whey protein is a must...after workouts and another before you go to bed. Remember to eat good foods still...don't stuff your face with french fries and Krispy Kremes. dumbpolak9 1 Report post Posted February 16, 2009 what about the Eas myoplex bars would that help??
Apes44 7 Report post Posted February 17, 2009 Different protein companies work well for different people, I know people who swear by the myoplex bars but i didnt see any difference. The nitro tech worked the best for me, also if you dont care about buying two different types, I recommend the nitro tech during the day and then before bed BSN makes a type Syntha 6 which has 6 different types of protein and takes longer time to digest so overnight it works the best.
