Skate fit conversion

My son is in need of a new pair of skates. He is currently wearing 70's size 4D jr. I am considering buying some left over Flexlite 12's I had a pair and loved them. I am not sure of the size conversion. If I were to be moving up to a size 5 in the 75's or Vapor line what size Flexlite 12 would that convert too?

I would just run to my LHS but no one has the skate around here.

Everyone will probably tell you the same thing. There is no "conversion" size, fit is all personal preference and no two skates will fit the same...

The flexlite boot is made on the same last as the supremes so you should go with the sizing he would take in the supreme line. The lexlites will have a slightly wider forefoot though so be cautious especially if ordering wides.
