Healthy_Scratch_15 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2009 I'm in Tackla 9000's right now, I've had them since '04 and they've last really well but have been really falling apart recently. Thread everywhere and I ripped them pretty on some plastic peeling off the boards when I was going over. I like the Tacklas but they're a bit on the big side I want something that fits a little bit closer. (I've heard bad things about girdles though) How are Bauers compared to Tacklas? Or Mission? The 120's look pretty sweet. I'd try easton but I haven't good luck with any of their other products. Also what size? I'm 5'9" 165lbs. 32-33in. waist. Current Tacklas are 48Thanks. junior 1 Report post Posted February 27, 2009 I recently picked up the the Tackla Flex and Stride Pants. I like them a lot and don't find them that bulky. I got a size 46, but I'm a size 48 in every other tackla pants I tried. The Tackla 951's weren't bulky either, but I did find the 5000 air and the 9000 to both be a little bulky and restrictive. I would reccommend the Flex and Stride or the 951's.
Healthy_Scratch_15 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2009 Huh, I haven't heard of the Flex and Stride before. I'll have to check that out...
Ahriman 1 Report post Posted February 27, 2009 I'd say you're a medium across the board and I really like my Vapor XXV pants for being slim fitting, light and protective except the lack of tailbone padding, granted there is cushioning but there isnt any hard pad back there if you get up-ended. I'd take a good hard look at the XVI, XXV and XXXX pants if I was looking for those characteristics.
