montreal 8500 ops

Anybody have any info on montreal 8500 Nitro composite sticks? Saw some on ebay and thought about buying them for the summer

The 8500s are really, really durable. They feel somewhat blade heavy to me. I've abused mine and it's still in quite good condition. Most durable OPS I've used. Mine have a light, grainy grip to them, not sticky. I'd buy them again for the right price, but if it was for the same money as a more current high end stick, I might try that instead.
