Hockey nets

Hey,

Wasn't sure if this should go in general or equipment. But I guess the nets are rink equipment so......

We just bought a new set of "portable" nets.

The nets came pretty much disassembled and we have to put them together. We've started but it seems kinda tricky so far.

We got the whole frame assembled, the net laced on to the spiral wiring and we laced on the padding for the diagonal bar and the top shelf bar. We've got the skirting still left to attach and the base fender pad (which doesn't actually seem to fit in the goal, it sticks out a little at each post) to attach.

How should the skirting, base fender pad and netting be attached to the base bar? All one lace? Seperate lacing for each? Should the netting be laced to the base bar and the skirt and fender pad just be laced together?

Help....it boggles the mind.
