TPS Warranty (R10)

Recommended Posts

I broke a R10 after 2 games. I contacted the place that I bought it from. They gave me Sherwood's number. The warranty department is an answering machine. They didn't call back. I left a message on the TPS website. I haven't heard anything.

Any ideas on what I should do?

Keep trying. Leave a message everyday if you have to.

Having dealt with them many times, they aren't the greatest at returning calls...

If anyone else has this problem, I called today and actually spoke to a person without leaving a message. So just keep trying I guess. They did ask for my SSN, which I thought was odd. They said it was needed to get the replacement through customs because i'm in the US and they're in Canada. I didn't give it to them and said I'd call back. Has anyone else come across this?

Eagle hockey told me that when I was shipped some things from Canada too.

Yah I'm dealing with them now as well. I broke 3 r6 blades in 2 weeks, sent em all back the 14th of last month and still haven't got them back to me, but in fact they are replacing all of them. I guess they misplaced my social (!?!) but now everything's fine and they're in the mail. I mean don't get me wrong I'm very glad they're replacing the blades, but a 2 month turn around? Just glad I have other sticks haha.

sent my son's R8 stick in the end of January for warranty (did have to provide a SSN which I thought was strange as well); they did send a replacement stick that arrived late March, so yes 2 mos turnaround for us too.

just nice to get something back from them...wasn't sure what to expect with the buyout and all

Sherwood and TPS are now one company. All of the TPS stock is now in Sherwoods warehouses in Canada. Any shipment going to a residential adress comming from a business needs to have the customer SSN on it to verify citizenship as well as adress (required by the brokering companies for some reason). Odds are if you dont want to give it to them they can ship them to your LHS and you can pick them up there.
