Wax lace question

anyone tried the waxed Gorillas?

I tried to try them once. I was lacing up one of my skates and got half way up when all of a sudden the metal tips would not go through the eyelets anymore. The skates are U+ so I guess maybe they warped a little in baking or something? Gave them to a friend, he used them, didn't really say they were any better or worse than other waxed laces of that shape, though he did say the tips kept falling off.

i used waxed laces for a period of time , they were a little harsh on my hands but stayed tied, but i went back to regular laces and dont see a difference so i guess its personal prefference

I also prefer waxed laces but am a bit particular as I will only use Graf waxed laces. I am not sure why I do this? I tried a few other waxed laces and they didn't hold up like the Graf's. I don't even skate on Grafs but like the laces

The Graf laces are made by TexStyle, just in case you want Graf laces and they only have TexStyle, you'll know you're getting the same thing :P

Thanks for that info. Graf waxed laces are all I like to use.
