cell phone help.

A couple of weeks ago at a big party, my cell phone got stole. It was a virgin mobile 8610. I decided that Im going to buy a new one, but I dont know what to buy. At first I was gonna get boost mobile but the coverage aint as good. So I am going back to virgin mobile. I just dont know what phone to get, the 8610 or the slider. Also sometime in october the 8910 is supposed to be comming out and that has internet and a camera on it. What do you guys think I should buy? Im kinda looking for opinions and trying to see which would be better for me.

Has any one else ever got there cell stolen? I don't know why anyone would steal one when it is %100 wrothless to them because they can't make calls and the battery goes dead so they can't play games or anything.

My friend has the slider, its pretty sweet. Couldn't they just transfer their account over to your phone? Or they could sell it on eBay.

No, because I called VM and they cancelled everything, if they try to activate or transfer anything then I'll know who has it. If they would sell it on ebay, when the person got it and tried to set it up, VM would contact me, and once again I would know who has my phone.

The thing about the slider is, I think that the screen will get scratched up.
