Help with CCM helmet

I recently bought a CCM 892 helmet. I wore it once at a pick up game and it pinched my head and gave me a headache. Will the foam soften up or anything, or should I look for a different helmet? I like the look of CCM helmets so I was looking at the CCM HT2, CCM HT500, or the CCM HT652.

The helmet will soften up, I have the same helmet and it pinched my head the first couple of ice times, it has since softened up and I don't think I will buy any other brand of helmet, very comfy, not cool looking, but comfy as well

Someone mentioned recently that they removed the ear protection and the pain went away.
