Does anyone actually own a pair of Nike Vapor XXVR Limited Senior Inline Hockey Skates?

or any Nike Vapor inlines?

Thoughts on them? they seem pretty cheap in price

I can help.

I bought a pair of Vapor XXR Limited a couple months ago.

My last pair of skates were Mission Proto Vs.

I skated a few times with the new Vapors around town and they did hurt my feet after a while. (we're talking 5 mile skate sessions). * also, it was my first time skating in about 7 years, so take that for what it's worth.

Anyways, I really like these XXRs and have NO complaints at all about them. The boot seems stiff enough for me. They have no problems in the 10 games I've played so far. The wheels are probably a bit too soft for me, but that's not a big deal. They ARE wear items and new ones aren't very expensive.

I'd say that the skate is pretty light overall. I don't have a lot of experience with any modern equipment, so I can't really compare them.

The bearings are nice and fast.

There have been no problems with any hardware stripping out.

I have minor knicks and cuts here and there from random sticks and whatnot.

If I could do ANYTHING different, I would probably go a step up and get the XXVRs. I'd imagine they aren't much different though.

there is a photo from when I first got them.

I hope any of this helps. let me know if there is something else I can do.

I had them baked for free at the place when I got them. They feel great.

Right out of the box, they felt fine too.

The wheel setup, no complaints. My old skates had the Hi-lo setup. These ones have the One Up setup.

They seem to be NEARLY the same.
