I want to get my palms replaced on a pair of gloves. My question is, when they replace the palm and gussets on the glove do they replace the "piping" of the glove with existing material or new or not at all? Or is that piece just thrown away?

Any help would be great!!

It depends on the gloves and what you want to have done. If the gussets are in good shape, you'll only need a palm. In short, they won't mess with the binding. I had a conversation with the owner of Georges Hockey Repair in Minnesota about this and the types of palms available. If you want to get a new palm on a high dollar pair of gloves, it's probably worth it. If they aren't high dollar, you might just want to get new gloves.
