puck handling drills

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I got word that the arena close to me has puck and stick ice time. I really want to improve my game, especially my stick handling and would like to utilize this time. I will be able to use this for an hour each week. And body know of any good drills i can run by myself. Keep in mind that i may not have large space, i'm not sure how crowed the session gets.

There is something VERY basic that you could do.

If you have some extra pucks, toss them down on the ice so that they are spread out here and there. Then, just work on using one puck and stickhandle around all the other ones back and forth, backhand, etc. It should help with quick stickhandling in tight areas.
