Problems with fixitbymail?

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone here has heard about any problems with doing business with fixitbymail.com aside from getting the wrong palms on their gloves?

I sent my gloves out about a week and a half ago and have not gotten them back, and have not been charged. I understand it might take a little time, so I called fixitbymail to check if they received the gloves. The first time I called their 1800 number it picked up quickly and played a very fast message about calling another 1800 number to talk to exciting people all around the nation. The second time I called (and every time after) it rings for a while then goes to what sounds like a French (I don't speak french) machine that responds to verbal commands.

I sent an email inquiring about my order but have not yet received a reply.

Any suggestions?

I recently got an old pair of gloves repalmed by them. I found out about a week after I sent them my gloves, after e-mailing them, that I had forgot to include the packing slip with my glove and credit card info on it. They then sent me a new order form with different palm options and once I e-mailed it back to them with a credit card #, they started working on them right away. The process was a total of about 3 weeks after all of the back and forth e-mailing. The gloves came out great. How long ago did you e-mail them? It may take a day or two for them to respond back.

I also recently had a pair replamed by them. It took a while but the gloves came out great with no issues.

I had called them the other day to ask about fixing my SBDIIs and the answering machine stated they are on holiday until Aug..

NYR - I definitely got the slip in the box, but thanks for bringing that up. Would have bummed me out if that was the problem.

I understood it may take some time, but I got paranoid about it after the phone was leading to those machines.

Thats weird - definitely the same number I was calling when getting the French machine. Oh well, can't wait till they get back from holiday so I can get my hands on those gloves!

The turnaround time was almost four weeks for me, but for the most part, I'm happy with what I got.
