Choosing new holders for Grafs

Recommended Posts

i have a pair of graf g3s and a pair of ccm vector 10.0s, both have identical ls2 holders and steel on them (no lifts or anything)

it feels to me like the grafs are still noticeably much more forward pitched. could this be the boot?

ive skated on bauers on ls2s as well and found them to be close to the ccm and much less forward than grafs with the same holders and steel.

im not sure if boots are made more or less pitched but its just a thought??

**edit: i also use the same insoles in the graf and ccm skates**

i wore 703's with just the stock cobra holders and i liked them alot! i bought a pair of g35's which should be here in a week. im thinking of going tuuk custom +. solid looking clean skate holder. ls2 is nice but sumthin about the simple graf look that the custom + compliments.

So, you like the forward lean of the Cobra holders, but you want to go with the least pitched holder on the market because it looks better? You'll have to get some heel lifts installed, that's for sure.

I put LS2 on my 735 with no problem.

Did you have Cobras on there before? and did you find that the pitch changed?

Even if there are You can do what I have done. I found some heel lifts and put them in and it felt like no different
