Goalie Boot for high instep

I was wondering if some of the experts on here could give me some suggestions as to what Goalie skate is most suited for a high instep. I would describe my feet as normal width, very high instep with a narrow heel. I currently wear RBK 5k's (which I thought were a wider fit) and the pressure on my instep is unbearable. Last night I tried on the Graf 650, 750 and the CCM Vectors all in a wide boot and the same problem exists. I remember reading that the Bauer Supremes have a deeper boot but unfortunatley my LHS did not have a pair in my size to try on. Given the limited goalie boot selection, is using a player boot retrofitted with a Goalie cowling an option?
