I'm not sure what to do about it, I don't want to further damage the leather by tying them without a eyelet in there. Should I take the skates to a pro shop? Can you put a new eyelet in? The metal ring had completely ripped out so they stitched in some new leather and put a new eyelet in there.If you're stressing that point when you lace up, you may want to have them reinforce the skate with some extra material while they're working on it.
