RBK 6k (07') or 8K (09') shoulder pads?

Anyone use either pair of shoulder pads? What's your take on them?

I find the 8ks fit tighter, I still prefer my old 6ks but lost them, the caps were not as big.

are you saying the old ones are lower profile than the new stuff? Tried on a pair of 6k's in s/m (6'0 175) i think i might be in between sizes the bicep strap just barely fit over my apparently huge pythons :D

I would check out the 8k's. That's what i've been using for about 5 months now and i find them to be very protective as well as comfortable and they have a low profile. Didn't have the 6k's though so i can't compare the two, but i did take the 8k over just about everything out right now.

how big are you and what size did you get? I noticed that the new line has s/m/l while the old one had s&m and then large. I am inbetween sizes so hopefully the new med is perfect for me.
