question about returning skates

Hey MSH, i have a pair of mission commanders that blew an eyelet/lacelet . i called up hockeymonkey and now im returning them. my question is whether or not i should keep the wheels and just send back the boot/chassis. i know it sounds lame but i dont have the original wheels and i dont wanna send them back with almost new labeda addiction wheels(they cost me a lot). so my options are: send them back empty, with my new wheels, or throw on some old broken wheels. thanks in advance for any advice.

Well if they are new enough to be returnable common sense should have told you to hang on to the wheels a few days longer than you did but since you didn't, all I can say is that I'm pretty damn sure the monkey isnt going to send them back to be repaired, restocked, or resold. I'm surprised they even want them back.

the original wheels were way too soft and i play in an outdoor rink so i sold them. because there under warranty, aren't they obliged to replace them?

I wouldnt use labeda addiction wheels outdoors at all. But anyways your gonna have to put some wheels on them in order to return,so I would call them up and tell them you play outdoors and the wheels are chopped up see what they say. If they don't care then throw the chopped up wheels on!

^^^^^I know what you're saying about the labeda addictions. i thought they were gonna hold up cuz of the whole 83a thing but they are deff gonna get ripped up soon. and ur right i should probably call and ask someone there. thanks
