Can a youth size Easton Synergy 1500 be baked?

Recommended Posts

I bought a pair of of these for my son (13Y), but didn't have them baked at the time. He's been complaining about some midfoot pain after 30 minutes or so on the skates. Would getting them baked help? Are these skates thermoformable? If so, does anybody know at what temp and how long to bake 'em?

Thanks!

i was always under the impression that these skates shouldnt be baked. my 1300C skates (which are almost the same) also say not to bake them on the bottom of the skate and that it will void the warranty.

i usually wear really thin socks with my eastons when i do wear them on the odd occasion (if the grafs arent sharpened).

however on hockey monkey the hockey monkey senior skate lists that it is heat moldable...have you talked to the shop where you got them from?

You probly have the wrong size/skate/model. I bought some new 9k pumps and had the same problem, what i found for me is it was from the tongue pressing on my foot too much. What I did was get a lower profile foot bed (not as highly rosen) even though my old footbed supposidly improved performance. I don't get as much pain anymore and am an overall better skater.
