Steel on Skates!?

Well this past few weeks for some reason my skating has been off and I know how I feel when I am skating good like most of us all do. But for some reason I don't feel stable or as explosive as previous. I have not changed anything still skating and working out.

My teammates at practice today pointed out that my steel is almost gone and coming into plastic, I looked down and there was barely anything and was wondering if that has anything to do with my stride being off? Not looking for an excuse just equipment malfunction :0

I also sharpen with the V flat bottom if that matters, thoughts?

if you are down to the plastic i would throw some new steel in there. it's not too expensive and if your skates are in good shape otherwise it's a cheap way to get that performance back.
