Stealth CNT vs Synergy SE

Recommended Posts

I have been using the Easton Stealth (not cnt) grip for the past little while. I originally had bought 4 and now am down to my last 1. My backup stick at the moment is the ak27 shaft with a easton ST sakic blade. For my next stick I was wondering what would be the more logical choice for me to purchase? The stealth CNT or the Synergy SE?

I am 6' and weigh 170 if that helps. Play rw. I love to take slappers and one timers. I also heavily rely on my wrist shot from the hash-marks in. I use a 100 flex and can load my sticks very well.

I am looking into some insight into which of the 2 sticks would suit my style better, and as to which has better pro's and less con's. As an aside, I was also looking into the dolo shaft/blade combo's, but would much prefer one of the eastons ( been using easton/sakic for the past 5 or so years). Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

It's all personal preference so you will have to decide this for yourself. In the interest of consistency and value, I would get another AK27 shaft and ST blade setup personally. Otherwise, I think that the Easton ST one piece is a better value (especially the 2008/9s that are going on closeout everywhere now that the new models are coming) than the SE/SE16 because it's usually cheaper and more durable while still being competitive performance wise.

In my opinion, the top end sticks such as the SE16 are simply overpriced but that's just me. I think two-pieces are a better value, especially over the long term.

Go for the stealth CNT since it's more durable. My SE's blade broke easily after taking too many snap and slapshots.

I would agree with Xero117, i had a CNT at the start of the season it was my favorite stick until it got slashed right in the middle. The SE was a great stick when i had one but wasnt as good as the CNT and broke easily.

Cnt's are in my opinion the best stick easton has ever made. They are very durable, light and good shooting sticks. I had 2 se's and they both broke in very short periods of time, you'll love the cnt if you can find one.

I agree, the CNT wins overall because of durability. I think maybe the s17 had better wristers but for everything else, the CNT wins. The SE was great too but fell apart so far.
