Mission Intake discomtinued or no?

Hi All,

As far as I know Bauer discontinued Mission Intake helmet. Some NHL guys still wear it without Mission logo on front, for example CAR's Rod Brind'Amour, In last game PHI vs CBJ I found that Tyutin wears Intake helmet with Bauer logo. What that means?

I'd assume it's done.

If it is gone I'm going to miss it. Playing in Florida a helmet that ventilates and allows air to flow through is pretty important. It is by far my favourite helmet ever. Very light and breathes well. Been rocked pretty hard more than once as well. I did get bumped from behind into the boards and the harder foam cut me above the eye, opening me up pretty good though.

Yea, with Bauer all ready having four helmet models, plus some options on those models (some come in EPP or VN) it seems they don't think they have room for or need the Intake or the NME, which never hit the market, only the NHL. I snapped up an NME a little bit ago, and am glad I still have a couple years in Mission helmets before I have to go find another one. Really wish Bauer would pick it up, or maybe sell the patent of the NME to warrior so they can call it the condom, lol. I'd still wear it though.

Don't know, but they are pretty easily had in NY area.
